As a broad and evolving field, educational technology research aimsto lead us to a more flexible, intelligent, and global learning environment byintegrating the latest technological advances to provide more efficient,innovative, and personalized solutions for education. However, Internettechnologies, especially artificial intelligence (AI), bring new opportunitiesfor education as well as unprecedented risks and challenges. This panel aims toexplore solid theoretical foundations and careful pedagogical designs tounderstand and promote the digital transformation of education.

This panel focuses on howChinese and British arts education scholars take stock of bridging the gapbetween theories and practices in diverse contexts. In this regard, practicesencompass a wide range of aspects, including but not limited to culture, society,pedagogy, contemporary art, public engagement and community building. Theprimary goal of this panel is to facilitate intellectual communications andexplore new possibilities in the field.
