In modern society, language and literature education faces challenges of instrumentalization and marginalization. This panel will discuss how to reaffirm the core values of the humanities and revitalize their contemporary relevance within the trends of New Liberal Arts and Digital Humanities. By combining theory and practice, we aim to provide new approaches and solutions for the creative development of language and literature education.

As generative AI becomes a quiet presence in classrooms, it challenges us to rethink what learning truly means. This roundtable brings together experts in psychology, philosophy, technology, and social innovation to explore changes in assessment, motivation, and knowledge itself. More than asking what AI can do, they ask what education should become. We invite the audience to reflect on how and why we learn, and how we can shape a more inclusive and creative educational future together.

At this new stage of high-quality educational development, teacher education is encountering unprecedented opportunities and challenges. Leading global universities and primary and secondary schools are continuously exploring innovative approaches in teacher training, curriculum design, interdisciplinary integration, and educational internationalisation. This roundtable brings together practitioners and researchers from diverse educational backgrounds across East and West to engage in in-depth dialogue on 'Innovative Practices in Teacher Education'.The discussion will explore collaborative models between universities and schools, strategies for building teacher capacity, and pathways for developing the core competencies of future educators.
